OCP Life
As a student at Orlando Christian Preparatory, your child will have opportunities to participate in a variety of activities beyond the classroom. Besides athletics and arts, OCP offers students extra-curricular activities, student leadership opportunities, spiritual growth and exciting events in which to participate.
The spiritual goal of Orlando Christian Prep is to turn out World Changers that are Christ-like leaders, equipped spiritually and academically to successfully pursue the vocation of their choice.
OCP uses Colossians 1:9 as its guide: “…that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might…”

Each year, our student body elects a student government with class representatives, a Treasurer, Chaplain, Vice-President, and President. These students have regular meetings and participate as leadership at school functions, as well as helping plan school events. Students must meet GPA, attendance and character requirements in order to qualify for student council selection.
The National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) are the nation’s premier organizations established to recognize outstanding high school and middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NHS and NJHS serve to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character (and Citizenship for NJHS). These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since their beginnings in 1921 and 1929.
Orlando Christian Prep’s spirit week is an opportunity to build awareness for our school among our current families. It is a fun week where each day is themed, and the students come to school representing the theme for the day. The week culminates in a BLUE GOLD day that precedes our yearly Homecoming event.
